Dashboard Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you get started on the VK44 Network, including accessing our Dashboard.

A positive attitude and a cup of coffee!

Instructions

The below steps will get you up and running on the VK44.NET as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that we are new and still getting the bugs ironed out. :)

1. Register for the VK44.NET Dashboard (if you haven’t already)

2. Wait for the System Admins to approve your account.

3. Once approved, login to the Dashboard and add in a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Method for Extra Security.
You will be prompted to add a 2FA Method to your account, this is to ensure your account remains safe and secure always!

4. Click on the Home Icon in the top menu.

5. Click Request Initial Node (under Quick Start).

1. Fill in the Form to Request your initial node.
2. If you want someone else to be able to assist you with your node, list them as a SysOp in your request.
3. Make sure you click submit.
4. Wait for a System Admin to generate your Initial Node.

6. Once your node is generated, you will receive an email letting you know that you can download the Configuration File.

1. You can access this in the Files section and there will be a folder with your callsign in the list.
2. This will contain your Node Config File.

7. You can now use this node config file to connect your device to the VK44 Network.
